The scripted wall has many layers which appeal to our physical, intellectual, and emotional capacities. The material, a nineteenth century reclaimed mushroom wood has been weathered over decades and embodies a rugged, timeless character. The graphic/scripture, chosen with each client to embody the spirit of the project is meticulously cut into the rugged wood using a CNC router, creating a beautiful juxtaposition of roughness and precision. The piece is then stained and lacquered to bring out its inherent grain and colour. The stunning finished product can be used as a stand-alone art piece, as decorative wall panels, functional doors, partitions or table-tops.
